How I update apple TV 1 to Kodi
#1
I currently have an Apple TV 1 (with an external hard drive attached) running XBMC Eden which I purchased through Firecore.
I was really happy with Eden up until a few days ago when for some reason the scanner stopped finding new movie files I was placing on my hard drive.
My files are setup like this - MOVIES - Movie folder i.e. Matrix - Matrix.avi
The scanner finds new TV Shows no problem.
If some one could please help me fix this scanning problem or please instruct me on how to setup Kodi on my apple TV 1 I would really appreciate it.
Thanks from Kane

There's an Openelec legacy build of 4.2.1 (Gotham I think) for the Apple 1, but it's depreciated hardware and no longer supported. See the link below, down at the bottom of the page:

Yes, this is the best option for Apple TV 1, i've got this one running with Kodi 16.1.
Don't install to many resp, because this will slow it too much.
Kill all what you don't need for optimal smooth working.

Succes and greetz,
