Hi,

I am running Helix on a dual-screen setup.
After I switch off both screens while the computer is running, I can switch on the primary screen (not the one where kodi is running) and everything is fine.
When I then switch on the second screen, Kodi suddenly start popping up on the primary screen. It asks me if I am OK with this change.
If I click OK, Kodi goes back to the secondary screen, but once I start playing a video, it's back on the primary.

How can I lock Kodi so that it never changes the screen it is on?
I tried using the "use a fullscreen window... " setting, but that dues not help.

Kodi will always default to the primary screen. Extended screens rely on the positioning memory for Kodi location, shut the screen down and Kodi reverts to primary. You might be able to trick Kodi with a switch/swap primary & secondary (some gfx software allows this e.g.AMD) then put it on a hot key, sometimes fiddling with Kodi screens is enough. Tons about this with a simple search, but the end of it all is that handshaking between your display and the PC are broken and default is what you get. look in the wiki for for HDMI pin 19 trick Displays (wiki) and search are forum using that term and you start to see what you're up against.
