I've posted before in other threads about the pass-through audio issues that I've had with Android and my AVR. I'm not going into that, but needless to say that Kodi on Android doesn't like my AVR with respect to DTS and DD pass-through.
However, on the Shield ATV pass-through works perfectly using the built in video player, which I would assume is due, at least in part, to the added APIs in level 21.
So my question is, has any changes been made in the Audio Engine to make use of those added APIs? Or is there plans to do so?
