Hello,

currently I have a fantastically running Kodi with some dynamic playlists who separate my different movie genres and tv shows:
- Kids Movies (Arielle, Cinderella, Bambi, Nemo & Co.)
- Adult Movies (some adult stuff á la "The Hills have Eyes" etc.)
- Family Movies (all other movies)
- TV Shows (the usual suspects, i.e. Game of Thrones)

Now my problem:
I have some directories where I have collections (ordered, named and numbered by a custom scheme) of own videos.

Example:

/Custom Videos/Show A/Video01.mp4
/Custom Videos/Show A/Video02.mp4
/Custom Videos/Show A/Video03.mp4

/Custom Videos/Show B/Video01.mp4
/Custom Videos/Show B/Video02.mp4

and so on....

I'd love to see this "Show A" as entry in a tv show listing, with maybe just the filenames as content lines. I know there is no official meta information, so the filename would be enough. Or possibly a shown name derived from the filename (i.e. excluding file extension).

Is this possible at all? Or do I have to live with my current approach: just to navigate via file browser into the directories?

Has someone a working method for adding custom/own videos into the official kodi meta data world structure?
