I don't use PVR at all and I have all settings disabled but I get this message on startup. Prior to 15.1 RC it was just a notification but now it's a message on the main screen that I have to cancel before I can move on.

How can I remove it for good?

Have you checked System-Settings-TV-General and disabled the first item?

Yes. I've disabled everything including all the PVR addons

I'm trying to avoid that as I have a lot of stuff setup. Custom key maps, modded skins etc. I will try by copying my user data folder first but I'm wondering if what's causing the problem is going to be in the userdata folder too

there are one or two addons outthere which can mess about with one of the clients - if you have any of these you need to disable the live tv option in their addons settings or get rid of them altogether
