Linux Kodi 15.1 crashes on video stream playback
#1
Hello,

my Kodi 15.1 - (Git:d496682) - Platform: Linux x86 64-bit running on Ubuntu 14.04.3

which is installed in dual-boot mode on a

Mac Mini 2010 (4,1)
with a 120 GB Samsung SSD, 2,4 GHz Intel Core 2, 2 GB Ram, and GeForce 320M graphic-card,
which is connected to a Denon AVR via display-port to HDMI

keeps on crashing when I stream videos.
Local files, Live-TV using TVHeadend and DVD-discs are playing just fine.

I reinstalled Kodibuntu several times, formatted the disc, used different versions of Kodi, etc..
I don't really know what is causing the problem. I don't know how to read the log-files.
Could it be a hardware fault? Not enough/broken RAM?

Here are my debug-log-files. Live-TV automatically starts when Kodi launches,
so streaming of the video is somewhere at the end of the log-file.
kodi.log
kodi.old.log
and kodi_crashlog.log

I hope someone can help me. If you need more informations please let me know. Thanks

Now I another crash occurred, but this time it must be a hardware problem. My Mac Mini just shut itself down unexpectedly, the fan ran really loud before. So I guess the CPU or GPU got too hot. It happened while watching Live-TV in Kodi. When I streamed videos in Kodi the fan never got this loud.

I am afraid to turn back on my Mac Mini because it even smelled burnt. Don't know what to do now...
