I've been scouring through these forums and the more I read, the more I'm gettin confused!
For myself, I'm looking for an HTPC and (I think) for my father-in-law I'm looking for an Android box or similar.
Examples I'd use are the AppNetTV's Kronos box and the M8.
The main reason(s) I want to get the above, is to stream 1080HD sports, movies and TV shows. Same for my in-law's. I was thinking of an Android for my in-laws cos it would be more plug n play style. For both devices there's no need to play anything external like YouTube, Facebook etc. I just thought the HTPC would be more powerful for myself but it might just be best to get two HTPC's and forego the Android box.
I currently have a dual-core MX Android box and it's just not powerful enough to do what I'd like it to.
Can anyone also advise on keyboards and plug-in Ethernet cable devices to extend my wifi through the house.
