I upgraded my OS to Windows 10 and now video won't play. I start a movie and can hear it but the screen freezes on the Kodi screen. Any help is appreciated.

Well I made a clean install on clean Win10 Pro 64. No problem of this kind at all.

Check which driver is loaded in the display adapter - it may have loaded the Microsoft Basic Display Driver during your upgrade
Need more info regarding your hardware, particularly your display adapter - open device manager, expand display adapter and post the type and the driver info
Note that some older adapters will not have a specific Win10 driver but will still work with a Win7 adapter.
