Kodi Damage message on OS El Capitan
#1
I just upgraded my laptop to OS 10.11.1 El Capitan

After I download the Kodi 15.2 and move it to my applications folder, when I go to open the Kodi file I get a message that it is damaged and should be moved to the trash

Any Idea of what's going on?

It was probably corrupted during the download. I would delete it and download again.

You need to go to

System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General

In there you need to change 'Allow app downloaded from:' to Anywhere and then it will install (you may need to download the dmg again). You can change the setting back after you have done that
