Does Openelec support VNC screensharing?
#1
I'm currently using a MacMini as an HTPC. I've been thinking about changing to an RPi2 because of the 3D support. The problem is that I know next to nothing about Linux in general and Openelec in particular. Currently I use VNC for all of my setup and configuration. I've heard that this isn't possible in Openelec builds but not sure if that is still true since I'm sure new features are getting added constantly. Is VNC supported? Is it possible to run something like SplashTop?

Yes there is a dispmanx vnc addon for openelec on rpi. How well it is working I don't know. If you search the oe forum for dispmanx you'll find some details.
