Hi all,
Does anyone know if an android/kodi device exists that will take power directly form a TVs USB or HDMI port instead of a regular wall socket?
Am not 100% myself as maybe the voltage/amp output would not be enough but still thought worthwhile to ask.
Am planning on hooking Kodi up to a tv in my kitchen. It's not used very much so I'd prefer not to have a device powered up all the time and I was thinking the question above would solve that issue as the device would power on and off with the tv. - even if I was to get such a device powering on/off in this way would be ok or not recommended?
I am a big Kodi user mainly on Windows...I do use it on my android tablets but never delved much in to android boxes so I'm bot of a newbie on this.
Cheers
