Hi!
I'm trying to add a network location to view movies.
This is the setup.
Network location is "Videos" on a windows 10 pc. As far as I can tell it is shared to everyone on the network.
On my mac, I can access the folder through the finder, or pressing cmd + k and connecting to the ip. To log in I use my windows username and password.
Now, I want to access this specific folder in Kodi, but for some reason I can't figure out how to add it, I keep getting errors like Invalid argument or share not found.
I'm trying to use add network location (since windows network does not seem to work and doesn't give me any options)
I figure Server name is the ip for the network location, but I don't have a clue of what the shared folder option should be, there is no explanation at all to the syntax.
I leave port empty and add my user name and password in the relevant slots.
Is there anyone who can help? I'm about to tear my hair off!
