Add-on:Studio Icons - Coloured - Icons Missing
#1
Hello everybody,

I am using the Add-on 'Studio Icons - Coloured' with the Titan skin, however there is a lack of some studio icons, like netflix and fxx.

Do you know how can I add them manually or contact the developer to help colect more studio icons?

Thanks,
scasaleiro

in case you know your way around git, you can submit missing icons as a pull request here:
https://github.com/XBMC-Addons/resource....s.coloured

if not, feel free to provide a zipfile with missing icons and i'll add them.

not really... the only thing that matters is the filename should exactly match the studio name, that's all.

looking at the ones you've provided, i doubt things like 'foxcomedy.png' will work.
it should be 'FOX Comedy.png' i think.

please test your icons in kodi, before submitting them. i need to be sure they actually work before i can add them.

Hello Ronie,

I created an updated version of the color Hulu.png studio icon:

I don't know how to create a white version. Is there a simple way to do this in Photoshop?

Thanks!

I've submitted a few more icons on GitHub but was struggling with the testing - on Kodi 15 the step above worked (and indeed I had a few custom ones working that way) - however on Kodi 16 (via OSMC) it doesn't, instead I was having to extract the existing Textures.xbt file, add the new files, and Pack it (using the resources files from Git Pull resulted in an xbt file which didn't work or produce errors in the log). Even then I needed to Exit (and reload) Kodi for it to pick up the changes Sad

http://kjs.me.uk/3rdparty/xbmc/Untitled.png (Y:\ is a networked mounted /home/osmc/ on my Pi running OSMC) is how I have the files saved.
The kodi.log shows
"20:05:38 426014.062500 T:1374680048 ERROR: DoWork - Direct texture file loading failed for resource://resource.images.studios.coloured/Test Channel.png"

Oh, and with my packed one I noticed that "RTÉ" loses the logo - but the file names are monged - wonder if the packaging of the Git Repo resources folder is failing due to Windows not liking some characters?

* On Kodi 15 using Aeon Nox 5 the files actually went in "\\192.168.6.61\xbmc\.kodi\addons\skin.aeon.nox.5\media\flags\studios" so with the nearest Textures.xbt in the media folder so I'm guessing I'm missing a step or two of the file hierarchy? I've tried adding to flags\studios\ inside the resources folder but no luck.
