When scrolling though videos or series (TV or Movies), kodi seems to download each show (or a part of it) and doesn't stop scanning until it finishes or runs out of memory and kodi gets killed by the OOM-killer and restarts.

I don't know why this is happening

Which system (OS) you are using?

Cause this is not skin related you should post this in general kodi support and not here in the MQ section.
