When I first built my gotham based XBMC on my 1st gen AFTV's I switched to SPMC because of some optimizations or codec fixes that made SPMC work better on AFTV. So now I've got 5 of these all running the old Gotham and after the AFTV 5.0.5 update they are all blowing up. I even moved the data to USB flash (from another post) and it's still blowing up when I try to play anything.
So now I guess I'm looking at moving to more current version but it brings the question whether I should try and use KODI or stick with SPMC (which I believe has the lastest version of 15.
Can anyone shed any light on what version I should use on my 1st Gen AFTV.
Also, I use CCM (Confluence Customizable Mod) as my skin and I have implemented SQL as my database. I believe both are supported in the newer versions.
