Win Automatically sort and move TV Episodes
#1
I have uTorrent setup to automatically download TV Shows from a RSS feed.
FileBot then extracts and renames these episodes and puts them in one folder. (D:/torrents/finished)

At the moment I have emby installed which monitors this one folder and then in turn sorts the Episodes to my TV Show drive (E:/Shows/Breaking Bad (just an example))

Is there any other app out there that handles the part that emby is doing right now. I otherwise hardly use emby and its quite heavy on the cpu.
I guess I could setup filebot but it would be sooo much manual editing for it to recognize the subfolders of my tvshows.
Using emby is nice because emby automatically recognizes my folder structure and then sorts and move the downloaded episodes accordingly.

Filebot is pretty powerful - have you looked at this? https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=215

How so? FileBot recognizes everything that remotely makes sense.

This is exactly what FileBot does.

Thanks for answering. I already use the amc script but my problem is that due to the size of my collection of I have TV shows and movies on different drives for example hd movies on one SD movies on another.
Active TV shows on one drive inactive and old shows on another.
I wasn't aware that filebot can recognise the different folders of the series and sort automatically. How can I do this? At the moment I just have amc unpack and rename everything to one folder.
If I remember correctly setting up filebot I have to tell it the root folder of TV shows and the root folder of movies it can't have multiple root folders.

Nope, how files are organized is entirely up to your format. If you specify your own formats you can have multiple roots.

Read Change how files will be organized and renamed:
https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=215

The examples contain things like Sort into drive with the most free space and Sort into multiple drives based on initial letter:
https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2

You could of course change the format to move different files to different output paths based on filesize, quality, series name, series status, series start date, last airdate, etc
