Is there some way to enable the Custom Shutdown Timer in Kodi on my Shield TV? I keep my default option to "Quit" so that I can play some videos while I go to sleep and when I wake, I can just wake up my device

Not that I know of. I'm told that the change would be fairly easy, as it just does some kind of check to enable/disable the menu option, but I think that requires a change in the code and thus a recompiling.

yes there is a sleep timer add on that I use every night on my shield (also works on firetv)..... http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=167997
