It already works fine start with Ubuntu 15.04 or 14.04 with the lts kernel. Don't forget to install mesa-vdpau-drivers
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Hello. A simple question about Atmos. I have an LG BH9540TW 9.1 home theater. If I purchase a Denon amplifier and have it output through HDMI to the home theater, what setting must I change for Atmos to be produced? The LG has 'auto', 'pcm' and 'DTS re-encode'. Should it be set to PCM?
