I'm currently using MythTV as a PVR solution. I'm using the MythTV XBMC Script (python front end) to play the recorded content over the network.

I'm also using a recent SVN version of XBMC that now supports TV Show meta-data lookup via the internet (which is fantastic BTW). I'm using this for a bunch of downloaded TV shows.

Most of the shows that are recorded via MythTV appear to have similar meta-data from the electronic program guide (EPG) as to what is obtained from the internet for the the new TV Show support (title, description etc.)

Is there anyway that I could have the downloaded and recorded TV shows all presented in one place so I don't have to swap between the MythTV Script and XBMC Video to list and then watch the TV shows?

Setup your MythTV to add season/episode numbering onto your shows and you're set. Otherwise if it adds some sort of unique identifier in the filename using the xmltv data, perhaps you could request that we add this to TheTVDB.com.
