Hi,

could you please save and handle the sortmethod of the music database entry "Songs" in an own viewstate?

The problem: I want to show the "all songs list" without the tracknumber and sorted by artist (sortmethod by artist) which is saved in musicnavsongs. But the songs of albums should be shown with tracknumber (sortmethod by track or name) which is also saved in musicnavsongs.

It saves them whenever you actually alter a view/sort/order.

I suggest you:

1. Go to all songs, and change to the sort to what you want.

2. Go to any other album and change it's song view to what you want.

All songs under albums should now use the album view (as it was the last view set as default for the songs layer), yet the "all songs" view will switch to the view you specified in 1.
