Update watched list.
#1
Hi

Hope this is in the right place.

I have Kodi running on a windows 7 pc in the front room. All my files are stored on this machine.

Is there a way that when I watch them in the Bedroom using an Android box it updates the lists to show that it has been watched on both machines?

Thanks

Steven

A shared MySQL (wiki) database, an Emby set-up or the trakt.tv add-on all come to mind as options.

AFAIK (and I'm no geek / kodi spcialist)

Hopefully your media files on "shared" over homegroup (or similar) and the PC must be on at the time of access

Install kodi on other device
Add folders/content etc
then add an advancedsettings.xml into the "userdata" folder containing
<videolibrary>
<importwatchedstate>true</importwatchedstate>
</videolibrary>

HTH
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

I have Kodi on a Raspberry Pi that plays content off of my main Windows 10 Kodi install via UPnP. The watched status (including resume time for partially watched) seems to sync up perfectly fine.
