I would like to sign out of youtube, so that I can reactivate my account. However when I choose sign out I receive a login error.
I tried reinstalling the addon (manually removed the folder), but when I go to the youtube addon after that the addon thinks I am signed in again.
Is there some way so that I can reactivate my account? Let it forget I have ever logged in or something?

Deleting the youtube folder in userdata did the trick.
