v16 (Solved) - Sound offset after Android TV (kernel update)
#1
Hello Team,

I've made recently made a kernel upgrade to my Android Box TV (product ref: https://www.amazon.fr/VicTsing-Bo%C3%AEt...B017CMV13I)
Kernel provided by VicTsing provided was rk3388_box-user 5.1.1 LMY48Y eng.sz.20160114.145727 release-keys.

Kodi version was downloaded on PlayStore (version 16.1) without any add-on

Problem
When playing video, the sound is offset about half seconds.
Do you know if it is possible to fix this little problem in Kodi application?

Maybe you another solution to offer me .

Thank you for your help

Best regards,
LEFBE

Change the audio offset in Kodi and save it.
You can also use this addon to change the audio offset since Kodi changes the offset for local and internet streams and don't have a setting to do it only for internet streams.
https://github.com/zapisnicar/audiooffset
You will see only internet streams are affected and local files will play with no delay.

It's known problem on Rockchip devices. I have the same problem on Zidoo X6. You can set audio delay in advancedsettings.
