Hi,

i know there is an auto resume all videos feature and it is ok.

It would be cool to have a third mode similar to apple tv.

like ask before resume.

So xbmc could present a menu when a bookmark to resume is there like:

Resume video
Start from the beginning

Apple tv is showing the current scene as a blurred picture in the background which gets smooth clearer when you hit resume.
Looks very nice.

What do the devs think of this?

This was how it was originally planned. We just never got around to it.

The idea was to have it start playing from the beginning, and flash up a notification in the bottom right that there is a resume bookmark available, and to press play if you want to auto-resume at that location.

After 5 seconds or so it would disappear. A patch fulfilling this would be welcome.

Personally I love how it resumes now and wouldnt change it. If you want to not resume just rewind a bit.

I would much rather have someone working on bookmarks for audio books then this...
