How can I prevent Kodi from eating up all my memory on the firestick? I use the pulse lite build and clear cache and delete packages regularly but still running low on memory. After complete install, it stated that I had 4.81gb of memory left. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

That certainly won't be helping. Use a clean official Kodi install. We don't support that.
