This is kind of a two part question.

Does anyone know if Kodi supports 4K playback? I know that you can set the resolution in the settings to 4K, but I was just curious about video playback.

Also, has anyone tried to rip a 4K Blu-ray? I wonder if the applications to rip standard Blu-ray will work.

With 4K Blu-rays becoming more available, it would be nice to start buying the 4K Blu-rays. One thing I worry about is the size of a 4K rip, since the size of a 1080 rip is already pretty large.
