With dropbox not working & SMB drives not working at least on the jUly 30th build, is there any other methods to transfer advancedsettings.xml to apple tv 4?

Got sMB to work and can copy over local files to profile directory no problem but when transferring advanced setting xml file it says failed every time. Any way to surpass this?
