yes I think i did, i thought that was for directsound, I should read better.
Strange that in line 116 it says it IS supported.
He should try wasapi anyway, or get a better OS! (It would be worth testing with libreelec)

Line 116 says the hdmi output is capable, not neccesarily the input.
It's not "worth" trying with wasapi/LE. You just can't send DTSHD to something that doesn't support it. For once, it won't even support the signaling format.
