Hi,

Can anyone help me with this?

I have tried 2 seedbox providers, both rendering the same results. When I add network location of my seedbox as FTP or HTTPS, it streams without a hitch (i have 120mbit/15mbit connection). However HTTPS does not show all the files, so I do not want to use it.
When I mount as SFTP, the Kodi on RPI3b is struggling to play anything, the movie stops for like 5 minutes, then plays 10 seconds, then stops again... I have tried changing all the cache options, and nothing is going on. When I connect SFTP via total commander, the speed is great. What could be holding up the transfer in Kodi?

the ssh protocol is inherently bad for streaming purposes (and large files transfer), just don't use it.
Try webdav over https or ftps

so i found a seedbox provider that works good with sftp, and they dont know why it works, cause the same configuration on their other site does not

they dont have webdav access...can you recomment a seedbox that has webdav
