OS X Deleting a File and its related Folder
#1
Hi all,

This might be a simple one but has me stumped.

In previous releases of Kodi and i can't pinpoint when you deleted a TV show or Movie from a folder using the Context menu it would delete the entire folder regardless of other files in that folder. Now however when i delete a show or movie only the movie is removed.

All my shows and movies are located on a a Synology NAS and i use NFS, i thought initially it was a permisioning problem but tried doing the same to a local tv show or movie on the Mac and the same result. I delete the show and once I've run the update library action its shows the folder with only whatever is in it, a .txt or .nfo files, so it does remove the movie but not any files within. when i delete again it removes the folder as it should on my first request.

Any help is appreciated !!

Kodi always like that. Try http://addons.kodi.tv/show/script.filecleaner/

Pantsenu,

Thanks again, however since you direction me on another post I've upgraded to Krypton, and it doesn't seem to be available for this version.
