I would like to make the video control OSD hide automatically after 3 seconds rather than having to use my remote to dismiss the control panel. Is there any way of doing this?

i see that it should be implemented, but just can't find it. or am i missing something?

It's not implemented in Aeon Nox. If you would want that, you would have to modify VideoOSD.xml to run skin helper service with the parameter to auto close the OSD.

Thanks for your reply! Do you know where I could post to request it be implemented in Aeon Nox, or provide the code so I can figure out how to edit the VideoOSD.xml myself?
Are there other skins which already have it, that I might be able to try?
