Win Help naming multiple disks (DVD)
#1
I have read this page:

Kodi Wiki about naming movie files

I still am getting an error, though, for two DVDs. That is, a movie is spread over two DVDs. What I did was set a folder structure as follows;

MovieName (date)
MovieName dvd1
Video_TS
Audio_TS
MovieName dvd2
Video_TS
Audio_TS

The "dvd1" and "dvd2" are part of the names of the folders in the folder structure. The date is the year the movie was released. The MovieName is the name of the movie.

With this, I get two "Video" icons in Kodi.

What am I doing wrong?

I've always seen the hyphen as the operator, (No spaces between the extension and number) so in your example MovieName-dvd1.ext should do it, I'm always using moviename-cd1.ext even if it's not a 'cd', Worse case scenario would have you using 3rd party software to convert and join. Ensure in settings to enable "file stacking" for split video files

Thank you. I will give that a try.
