I have upgarded to Krypton quite successfully. Instead of running in LibreElec (which was great) I am now running it as a app in Rasbian on a Raspberry Pi 3b attached to an oldish (4 years+) Samsung Flatscreen TV
A few veyr minor challenges here and there but otherwise 100% happy. So far.

I'm using OSMC, what I miss is the desktop... lol but at least the 1GB of ram from the Rasp Pi 3 is entirely dedicated to my Kodi experience. What about you? Is it laggy? Even in OSMC, many themes are laggy.
