I couldn't get the official kodi remote app (iOS) to work since update Kodi 17 since i normally let Zeroconfig to do it for me

I had to use a different port than 8080 because i tired the port range 8080-8080 and it didn't work so i tired changing the port on kodi to 3721 since thats the default port allowed on Android devices

So if your tryimg to connect to Android kodi version try port 3721

So setup info in "add host" needs to be updated and to include this infor about Android version

I noticed you updated the setup info in "add host" but i can fever suggests that manual form could need the following changes

"Port range" to "Port number" as kodi remote setting only listens to one port, default port 8080
"MAC Address" this setting is unnecessary as i was able to add host without specific it
"Description" could be charged to "Name" as it makes more sense

Mac address is used in case you want to wakeup the kodi pc via "wake on lan" - careful with assumptions on what is usefull and what not...
