Hi top of the morning to you good fellas i have a question and i hope one of you good fellas on the site can help me resolve it. i have been scrolling through this site for some time now and i came across kodi 18. i recently just installed kodi 17(Krypton) and im am very happy with the results. can one of you good fellas on the site please go out of your way and send me a how to on how to install kodi 18 im a newbie at this so any help is appreciated.

Same way you installed v17. Go to the download page for your operating system. The download page will show the default "Recommended" tab. Click on the "Development Builds" tab then download and install as usual.

If you are new to Kodi, I would recommend against installing v18. It is still in development, and probably a good 8 months away from release. The download is used by advanced members for testing purposes.
