Hey guys and girls.

Philips open there registration for companys to get a beta access to there coming Entertainment-API.
Here is the text from the regsitration form:
Quote:Entertainment beta early accessAs announced at IFA 2017, we would like to invite the entertainment industry to join us in creating the next generation of immersive entertainment experiences. This will be a limited early access program for companies with the most compelling ideas, content and usecases for the new capability. The capability will be rolled out to all interested parties in December 2017 together with the capability launch to our existing installed base.Technical information about entertainment can be found in our blog: https://developers.meethue.com/entertainment-blogIf you are selected for the program we will be in touch via the provided email from the early access beta starts. We regret that we will not be able include everybody.
I think this could be a really cool feature for kodi's future. Many people love thoose Philips HUE lamps and a good working ambylight feature with kodi itself would be really really cool!

What did you think?

Hey. THX for reply but I think we talk about other things.

Your mentioned github release is based on the standard api not the entertainment-api. Because of the delay this addon is just a proof-of-concept.
So because Philips provide a beta access this december, only for "companys" and not for private users like mpolednik, I ask here.

Is it such a problem to create a HUE-dev account to a valid @kodi.tv mail and fill out the form?

I thought kodi.tv community would be the best way to give you information about this new api and this cahnce to be one of the first who be able to support the philips-hue-entertainment API.

My point is that this belongs in an Add-on and would need to be done by someone with an interest in Hue products, as there's am existing add-on then to me the best approach would be to ask the author of the addon on whether he plans to support the new api.
