apple tv 2 help
#1
I am unable to install any addons to my apple tv 2 5.0.2. I currently have youtube as an addon, but when i go to open it nothing loads. I also have earth cams to look at cams around the world but that is also not loading any videos of the available cams in the list. I am unable to install an addon of any type. When i try and install an addon, it starts the download at 0% then just stops, it will not go past that point and nothing happens. I have been looking around for how to add my log files but a lot of what i am finding is for apple tv 4, where my apple tv 2 does not follow the same steps? (install from repository) Sorry i am very novice to this stuff and any advice is greatly appreciated, and i can try and provide any addition details to help the situation.

And as you were told we are unable to assist with any device containing banned addons (wiki) or repos.

If you have cleaned things up then please provide a logging enabled debug log (wiki) via a PasteBin site.

Some of the crap from the banned repos can royally screw up Kodi by sticking its tentacles into all sorts of places and overwriting or screwing with stuff that it has no business touching.

We've had too many instances of that in the past, so our stance is now any such add-ons or repos being present are a sign of a potentially compromised and corrupted system.

Details for gathering the log file are in the link in my post above, and full details in my next one.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Always use a paste site like pastebin.com. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum
