Looking for ctrl alt delete or other process killer...
#1
Hello,
Perhaps someone has developed a version of crtl alt delete or other method of killing a process?  Problem is I have 3+ tb of music for my Pi2 Kodi media player - and if I accidentally hit or even pause over the songs tab or artist tab or album tab and kodi starts searching.....the search will take literally hours.....the unit is as good as frozen.......and I cannot see how to halt it.  I have to pull the plug.  I am concerned that I may corrupt the system and have to reinstall or go to a back up.

Or..... is there a way or a skin which does not use the songs, albums, artists, or tabs under music? Only files tab is good for me. I use confluence.

Using Kodi V17.5 Krypton

Thanks for any suggestions.

Kodi is not an operating system. Which OS is running on your RPi2 box?
Get us a debug log (wiki) if possible, via https://pastebin.com or similar upload text website.

You should be able to SSH into your box, and do the following command:
systemctl restart kodi
You may have to enable SSH first.

As a side note, OpenELEC hasn't been actively developed for a year now.
You are encouraged to switch to LibreELEC for the latest versions as well as scraper support.
