Hello everyone,
It's been awhile since I've done some python, so I was wondering, has there anything changed in the python library/docs, http://xbmc.sourceforge.net/python-docs/.
For example the Theme Browser seems only to work on every skin except Project Mayhem III and I think it has to do with xbmc.getSkinDir(), but that's just a gut feeling.
Seeing XBMC has become multi platform now and have no knowledge about their path structure, can you still work your way from Q drive or is there an other global path for some specific folders or you have to work with a directory separator?
Anyway what I really want to know, what are the tips and tricks for making your scripts compatible with Linux, OS X and what has changed mostly in the python library/docs in the last half year?
