Hi Everyone,
I am using Kodi 17.6 on a Raspberry Pi 2 with raspbian stretch (up to date) and am experiencing a problem with the slideshow feature.
I've copied some images and videos onto my sd card and wrote a basic autoexec.py to start the slideshow, whenever my kodi starts. The script works fine, the pictures slide nicely. However I see only a black screen, when Kodi tries to play the .mp4 files in the slideshow folder. The videofiles are intact and playing perfectly smooth, when i manually play them in kodi.
On my Windows 10 machine this feature works as intendet with Kodi 17.6.
At some point I realized, that the videos are in fact playing, but not within the slideshow window. It seems that they run in background in a "wrong" window and get overlayed by a black picture from the slideshow.
Any Ideas how that can be fixed?
