When under "countries" or "years", it would be nice to sort by number of movies, so we can know from which year (or country) we have more movies.

you should be able to get this number pretty quick,
with the default skin estuary, open kodi, move to the category you want, (specific year, genre, director, actor, any of the other optioons) then open the view options and then it should show you a total, you can then filter by watched, unwatched or all and it will show the respective totals

Thank you Ketterer but this is not what I meant.
What I would like is to sort the countries/years list by number of movies - not see each country/year by itself. Something like:
USA: 50 movies
Canada: 30 movies
Italy: 29 movies
Japan: 18 movies
etc.
Or
1990: 42 movies
2010: 30 movies
1978: 15 movies
1956: 14 movies
etc.
