Randomly, video and audio through HDMI stops for about 1 sec and then it continues.
Randomly means perhaps each 30 minutes, but sometimes more often, even twice in two seconds
I don't have problems with other apps like Netflix or Youtube
I'm using Odroid C2 with Android.

Any clues of what may be going on? I'm considering replacing the hardware

It's HDMI 2.0 cable
If it was the HDMI cable, wouldn't you expect to see the problem with other apps. Or it may be that Kodi sends some special sort of signal

So would Kodi logs catch this kind of thing?
Do I need to enable debugs?  Or it's just enough to write down the time when I see the problem and I'm watching a movie, so I can correlate it with the logs?

I would enable debugging and then either take a look yourself or share it here at the forums
