Every time I access the movies menu, kodi quits. It is the only menu that does this.
This has happened twice now. I did a clean install and the issue went away but quickly returned. I used different skins and tried changing skins before entering the Movies menu, still crashes.
Everything is up to date.

please post crash log as well
does it crash with default skin too?

Start by removing the two orange-colored scripts entries in the log file relating to video piracy.
Two souvenirs from way back when, I'm sure, but still not acceptable as per our forum rules (wiki).

Still there... The problem is that those 3rd party add-ons can install anything anywhere beyond our control.
So if a clean setup is an option, I'd say it's time for some spring cleaning.
Don't forget to make backups of your video/music libraries and config files.

Disabled thumbnail extraction, works fine. Thanks for the find, that nailed it.
