kodi 19.0 on the nvidia shield tv 8.2.2

• No audio and video stops a few secons later
  
• but the timer on the status bar still ticking. (the timer continues well past the video length infinitely)
  

Force stop app, restart app,clear cache... nothing will work immediately after freeze.

• Hours later, playback resumes after force restart, issue appears back after 24-48 hours
  

I even unistalled kodi and fresh installed and build libray from scratch. Problem reappeared after 24-48 hours.

• kodi app STILL navigable after video freeze no problem, only the playback has an issue
  

Installing smpc and vlc player to test if it was a NAS problem but I can access and play the same videos no issue whilst kodi is having the playback freeze.

• I even tried playing a video file stored on the device internal storage...same result
  

All other apps work with no video/audio issue this only happens in kodi
