is their an updated guide to creating an api key? i followed the one on here from a few year ago which is clear enough but the web page must have changed since. that old guide cannot be followed.

It would be nice to clean up the YouTube thread. I was having issues with the YouTube addon a while back and was trying to go through the thread to troubleshoot my issues but the thread was extremely long. I suggested starting a new thread with the latest info and was basically told to piss off but a short time later up came a new thread.
If the convention of having the very latest info in the first posts of the thread could be maintained that would be great.
I am going to have to redo my YouTube now as well so hopefully it will be easier this time around.
