During playing of a video or DVD I hear sometime a very short beep sound.
This happen during the playing sometimes for more than one time at distance of time.

Why, what is is and how to deactivate?

Perhaps it's encoded into the media, or perhaps a skip of data on a dirty disk? This is not a common issue (first I've heard of it). See if it's repeatable at the same location in the video.

Hi, thanks for the answer.
No, it's not a media issue, it's Kodi that do this often with different media.
Now I tried to remove the default audio settings and select mine speaker, don't know if this will help.

After created this topic I discovered I'm not the only one that are asking about this issue, it's since 2012.
Still be something that happen.

It's more likely something on your PC causing the beeping as this is not something Kodi will do.

The solutseems to edit Kodi audio settings and remove the default option than select speakers.
