I use auto frame rate in Kodi which works great with movies and retro game but every change of TV channel causes a display mode change even though all of the channels are 50hz (And output at 50hz). Is this behaviour normal? Is there any way I can avoid the unnecessary display mode changing for Live TV whilst keeping frame rate matching?
Setup is Windows 10.

I second that.
It would be good to have an option to disable video mode change for Live TV altogether. Another option may be to not change video mode when TV playback is active, e.g. when TV playback starts, it switches to some 50 Hz mode and there should be no more switches to another modes while the TV playback is active. Currently KODI changes the video mode every time I call a channel list menu during TV playback, that is slow and disturbing.

You know, you could set the default refresh rate to 50Hz.
