Luigi,
Where is the boot directory? I am playing with a kustom kernel and I cannot find the existing ./.config file to include in the compile.
thx,

I'm sorry I don't get the point; the kernel is the Ubuntu (8.04) default one, installed via apt-get - hoping it would help you

Luigi,
I am trying to build 2.6.27.8 and I am looking for the current working ./.config file - which is normally /boot/config-`uname -r` ./.config (when using Grub)
This gives me a working configuration copy to build the new kernel from.
When I try to cp the above to /usr/src/linux I get a cannot stat error.
I could build from scratch !OUCH!.
