So I just finally got around to installing XBMC Live to my hard disk after testing it for a week. The install went fine, however, it appears that there are no options for adding plugins.

For instance, under Videos there is no "Video Plugins" icon above Add Source and when I click Add Source, Video Plugins is not an option.

I have also tried SFTPing into my box and under Home/XBMC the only directories I am showing are Videos, Music, and Pictures. There are no Plugins or Scripts directories.

I am using the 8.10 image.

Any ideas on why I am not seeing this and how I can fix it?

Wow thank you! I've been trying to find that path all day and could not find any help in the docs or the forum or IRC for that matter.

I am still wondering why the Apple Movie Trailers plugin was not installed, but at least it looks like I can now add plugins. Thanks!

no problem, there isnt much included in the live versions.
