Hello.. I hope someone can help me with this mysterious problem that XBMC cant seem to get movie information anymore. Please see the log for full [1] output.. The key issue has to do with the following lines:

10:45:35 T:2962026496 M: 60862464 ERROR: Process: Error getting movie details from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800308/
10:45:46 T:2962026496 M: 56401920 ERROR: Server returned: 502 Bad Gateway

Funny thing is that XBMC is capable of accessing the internet just fine if it comes down to update checking or apple trailers. Also notice that Firefox and Safari (i'm on a macbook, leopard) can access imdb perfectly! This indicates there is no network error even though the XBMC error says so. I am not using any sort of proxy btw.

Below you will find some links with debugging information that hopefully will resolve this issue to which ive been struggling for quite some time now. I hope someone can help me so i can start using XBMC like i did so much before. Any help is appreciated!

Please enable debugging and post a new log, that one is useless.

I recently rescanned my library and got a similar result, though it was only for about 8 movies then it came back and finished fine. Seems more like a routing/server problem than anything else.

Here you go with a new log [1] with debugging enabled. However it seems not to give much more information.

Since the 502 is a server http response code I would think too that its a server/routing problem. However, how I can explain the fact that a http session goes fine in another client? (like firefox).

I dont have any fancy routing setup here and again I cannot reproduce the problem from a command line curl or wget session. I'll try to setup a local proxy today, see if that changes anything.. but I prefer a real solution.
